Job Description : Job Summary: Storage QA engineer with solid automation and validation skills. This Engineer will focus on understanding the product requirements, providing Test plans & Test cases, developing and executing automated System Test cases. Requirements 5+ years of successful software QA experience Strong systems level test background Programming skill in Perl or other scripting languages Good understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, computer storage, data structures and standard programming practices. Good understanding of File Systems, NAS/SAN Storage and Networking Protocols highly desirable. Experience with data management applications such as Backup/Restore, Compliance, Mirroring, Snapshots technologies will be a strong plus Hands-on experience with multiple Operating Systems (Solaris, Linux, Windows) desirable. Good written and verbal communication skills to interface with team members and developers. Good leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple QA teams Desire to pursue a long-term career path as a Quality Engineer. Education & Experience: - 5 to 7 years of experience is preferred. - A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master Degree, or a PhD; or equivalent experience is required.
