For furtherance of the objective, the state government has taken a joint UNDP-GoJ State-Level Support to Livelihood Promotion Strategies project, being implemented through Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS), under Society Registration Act 21 of 1860.The project follows a holistic livelihood approach to improve livelihood security and diversification of livelihoods among the poor in 10 selected blocks in 5 districts.
