Skills : 
Strong academic background
Clear understanding of logic concepts and computer design
Knowledge of Verilog, VHDL and exposure to industry simulators
Good expertise in C, C++ languages and experience in scripting (like csh, perl)
Exposure to object oriented programming is useful
Exposure to chip design methodology is a plus but not a requirement
