The 640-acre plant is situated at SIPCOT Industrial Park, Oragadam in Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

Our Honble CM and Dy CM inaugurated the plant on March 2010 and the first car (Nissan Micra) was rolled out on May 2010.
