Job Description

Designation : Software Engineering Intern

Qualification : B.E/B.Tech

Location : Bangalore

Salary : As per the Industry

Experience : Freshers

Skills Required :

- The candidate should have solid experience in Manual Testing of web based products.
- Should be very strong in testing concepts and methodologies
- Should be conversant with software testing of business applications and functional exposure to SaaS model is a great plus
- Should be good in problem solving skills and comprehensive technical ability (Java, ORACLE,XML, AJAX, Java Script etc)
- Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Should be independent and proactive and should be able to work with team members across various locations
- Comprehensive understanding of Internet environment and technologies.
- Exposure to automation concepts and tools is a plus
- A clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements and project management.


Responsibilities:

- Execute tests, troubleshoot failures, review and reports on results, work with development groups to identify and resolve problems.
- Develop, implement and execute test plans and test cases.
- Takes responsibility for own and team goals. Gives adequate directions, makes needs and requirements clear to achieve performance expectations
- Objectively assesses an individual's strengths and areas of development.
- Communicates with team members on a regular basis. Encourages team members to raise issues and give feedback on what they liked and what they’d like to improve. (Encourages openness)
- Takes responsibility for own and team goals. Gives adequate directions, makes needs and requirements clear to achieve performance expectations
- Ability to review and improve test coverage
- Participate in technical communication within the team and to other groups associated with specified projects such as users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
- Based upon the need, he will have to participate in the test execution also.
