Accounts Payables Associate Analyst

Position: Associate Analyst- Accounts Payables
This position is a part of Deloitte Support Services India Pvt Ltd, within the FSG - Accounts Payable service line. The responsibilities assigned to it are in support of Accounts Payable function of the firm. The Associate Analyst will assist performing the accounts payable coordinator work in SAP and perform all the supporting functions.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Daily Activity - Act as coordinator for auditing and posting of Accounts Payable Requests for Payment transactions in the SAP AP system to facilitate payment to vendors. Upgrade the process knowledge from time to time.
2. Customer Focus - Provide outstanding customer service with both India and US internal customers on a daily basis.
Dedication towards serving the customers is mandatory. Should maintain relevant data, retrieve and provide the same to the customers when ever required.
3. Audit - Quality review/ audit and posting of Accounts Payable Requests for Payment to ensure accuracy and compliance with the Firm's policies and standards. Associate Analyst should strive to achieve the accuracy targets and improve on the errors in the audit / error report sent to them on a biweekly basis.
4. Accounts Payable Policies and Procedures - Thorough understanding of APR 840 Policy (and related policies), APC Guide, AP Best Practices and any other AP related information, reference material and resources. Open to upgrade the knowledge as and when required to perform the job effectively and efficiently.
5. Accuracy - Monitors and maintain 98% accuracy or greater.
6. TAT - Meet the Turn around Time (TAT) requirements as dictated by upper management and maintain the workflow in such a way to meet the TAT requirements.
7. Benchmark- Must consistently reach benchmark for the number of AP Requests for Payments posted as dictated by management.
8. Teaming - Works as a team member in providing value-added services to the client. Shares knowledge and Best practices among team members.
9. Reports - Monitorsthe SAP workflow inbox and performs WC1 work and generate and forward the invoice register as required daily.
10. Projects - Available and assist in any projects and assignments that are assigned by AP Manager both US and India. Participate in firm activities and programs.
11. Processes - Should be in a position to understand the processes thoroughly and perform the Job efficiently and accurately.
12. Trainings and DLC - 25 Hours of CPE/Continuing Professional Education credits in Deloitte Learning Center or any other additional hours of training decided during goal setting processes and any other mandatory and non mandatory training as required within time to enhance the skills which enables analyst to better perform their job.
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
Working Knowledge of computer application skills in Microsoft Excel and Word Should have been working in e-mail environment.
Working knowledge of SAP or any other ERP is preferred.
Work Experience: 2 plus years of relevant professional services experiences or 1 Plus year of industry relevant experience.
