Associate Product Manager
Job Description
You will work with customers, industry experts, product management, sales and professional services to define product requirements and/or translate product requirements (created by other product managers) into product functional designs to be implemented by Product Development team.
Job Responsibilities
Write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for point solutions
Write functional designs (based on PRDs) for broader products
Consult in writing Market Requirements Documents (MRDs)
Work with a cross functional team including Product Management, Product Development, Professional Services, QA & Documentation teams to define and deliver products
Participate in product strategy discussions
Be the in-house expert in one or more industry verticals (Pharmaceuticals/FDA, Telco, etc) wrt regulatory & compliance issues
Job Qualifications
8+ years experience with enterprise software (in Product Development or Professional Services role)
Ability to think out of the box & understand market, customer and business needs
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (writing samples required)
Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Knowledge of Governance, Risk, Compliance & Quality desirable
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Master's degree preferable
