Designation : Associate Software Engineer
Qualification : BE,B.Tech, M.E. in Computer Science/Electronics Engineering
Experience : 1+ years of experience
Location : Bangalore
Salary : As per the Industry
Skills :
- Excellent C/C++ skills, strong OOPS concepts
- Good knowledge of data structures
- Understanding of issues related to multithreading
- Exposure to class level design
- Exposure to any printer communication protocol and knowledge of firmware internals
- Strong debugging skills on Linux & Windows platforms
- Good analytical & problem solving skills
- Hands on experience on Rational ClearCase version control system
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Should be a team player
- Quick learning capacity and ability to work independently
- Good understanding of OS internals, data structures, algorithms.
Primary responsibilities:
* Coding & debugging components of OEM Video (print engine interface) module in C/C++ on Windows and Linux
* Fixing critical field video defects reported on products released to the market
* Understanding of print engine specific protocol internals
* Understanding of various Fiery server modules and print features
* Strong ability to understand existing code and create quality code from design models/documents
* Work closely with other internal development teams to investigate cross module issues
* Work with QA team and help resolving internal defects as well as customer issues.
* Help with debug server setup for defect investigation
* Analyzing issues reported across various Fiery modules/applications and help the cross team developers for an optimal solution
