Krishna Menon, the then Defence Minister of India and established by the MoD under the aegis of the School Society to rectify the regional and class imbalance amongst the Officer cadre of the Indian Armed Forces, by preparing students for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, Pune. Today there are 24 such schools covering almost all the states of the country.

Sainik School Ambikapur Recruitment 2013 For Assistant Master (Eng.). Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Master (Eng.) in Sainik School Ambikapur.
Designation : Assistant Master (ENG.)
Qualification : Graduation in English with B Ed from a recognized university or BA,B Ed with English of Regional College of Education and must be TET/CTET/STET qualified.Desirable Qualifications for the posts mentioned in Para 1 (a) & (b) – Post Graduation/ M.Phil/ Ph.D or past experience to teach at Senior Secondary level in CBSE affiliated English medium school(s) and Attainment in Sports/ Games/NCC/Extra- Curricular activities will be given some preference.

Salary : 9,300 - 34,800 + GP Rs.4,600/-
