From that time to this date, the University has been expanded several fold. In the British regime one Agricultural Research Station was established in 1903 known as “Labhandi Farm” at Raipur . This Labhandi Farm had grown slowly and today it has become the campus of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur .

Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Recruitment Notification 2013 For Assistant Professor. Application are invited for the Post of Assistant Professor,Professor in Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya.
Designation : Assistant Professor
Qualification : First Class Master’s Degree with Good Academic record in Agri-Business Management from recognized University/ Institute. Teaching, Research, Industrial and/ or professional experience in reputed organization. Papers presented in conferences/ seminars and or published in referred journals. Ph.D. in Agri-Business Management/ Business Management from recognized University/ Institute.
Location : Raipur
Salary : 15,600 – 39,100 + AGP Rs.6,000/-
Age Limit : 35 Yrs
Fee : Fee of Rs. 500/- for Unreserved and OBC categories and Rs. 250/- for ST & SC categories (subject to production of attested copy of the ST/ SC. Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority of the Sate of Chhattisgarh) in shape of Bank Draft of any nationalized Bank drawn in favor of “Registrar, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur”.
